Welcome to SOMANA— an embodied dance journey where Soma (the body) meets Mana (life force), inviting you into deeper connection, liberation, and vitality.

Join us for an expansive evening curated by internationally acclaimed artists Zana Prana & Nizhoni, known for their powerful ability to blend music, movement, and ceremony into transformative experiences. Having shared their music and medicine at festivals and gatherings across the globe—including Aotearoa, USA, and Central America—they bring a unique fusion of global rhythms, sacred soundscapes, and deep intention to every space they hold.

In SOMANA, they weave together the art of Contact Dance, the freedom of Ecstatic Dance, and the nourishment of Sound Healing, inviting you into a full-spectrum exploration of embodiment and expression.

We begin with a 30-minute Contact Dance Lab, where you'll be guided to explore trust, touch, weight-sharing, and co-creation through playful, accessible exercises. This space is designed to help you attune to yourself and others, cultivating presence, connection, and fluid movement.

From there, dive into a 90-minute, 2-wave Ecstatic Dance journey—a powerful container to move freely, release, and embody your wild, authentic expression. Let the deep, dynamic soundscapes crafted by Zana Prana & Nizhoni carry you through waves of rhythm, emotion, and elevation, tapping into the innate intelligence of your body and the collective energy of the dance floor.

We will close the evening with a gentle Sound Healing integration, offering spaciousness and stillness to ground, recalibrate, and harmonize your energy.

Who is Zana Prana:

Zana Prana, DJ, Multi-Instrumentalist, Singer & Musical Alchemist hailing from New Zealand. Fueled by a fervent desire to unlock realms of liberation, she orchestrates musical odysseys that brim with diverse influences, fostering a profound sense of culture, connection, and transformation. Zana traverses the globe, crafting transcendent soundscapes for Psychedelic sojourns, Ecstatic Dances, and immersive Sound Experiences. 

Her repertoire encompasses a kaleidoscope of elements: ethereal vocals, live instruments, medicine-infused melodies, resonant basslines, emotion evoking classics, and a rich tapestry of indigenous, and ritualistic world music. What sets her apart are her hauntingly celestial vocals, infusing each performance with a beautiful and otherworldly dimension. Zana has graced the stages of prestigious festivals across the Asia & the Americas, including Envision Festival, Unison Festival, High Vibe Fest, Totality, Embodiment Fest, and Aguila Fest & NZ spirit. Her dynamic performances continue to captivate audiences globally, weaving unforgettable experiences wherever she goes. 

Who is Nizhoni: 

Nizhóní curates musical narratives designed to inspire greatness, restore ease, and ignite the heart’s deepest desires. His music selections blend a diverse range of world music vibrations with deep-kundalini-stimulating bass, tribal-tech synergies, and deep house trance states. He masterfully weaves healing frequencies drawn from tribal cultures and medicine circles worldwide, combining them with intentional electronic production and song selection. Nizhóní enriches his sets with live instrumentation, incorporating flutes, drums, guitar, cello, handpan, and other magical tools to create immersive experiences.

His musical journey began in childhood as a classical player, performing with youth symphony orchestras. Over time, it evolved into playing live music for yoga, performing sound healings for large groups, and captivating audiences at nightclubs, festivals, and ecstatic dances.
