Event description
Somatic Movement is a therapy that uses movement to help the body in releasing tension, stress or trauma that may be stuck in the muscles. As a form of embodiment exercise, Somatic Movement looks like a combination of dancing, shaking, stretching, breathwork and meditation.
Somatic Movement is good for you if:
- you are too much in your head
- you have chronic pain that you may be realizing is connected to emotional trauma
- you are ready to connect to your body's wisdom
- traditional meditation doesn't work for you
- you've pushed and punished your body too much & you are dissociated from your body
