Come and join Carolyn and Jody in a co-created journey of immersive sound and somatic dance.
A opportunity to release, surrender, connect, liberate.
As we move into spring what are you reflecting on.
What is being reflected to you.
What are you seeing now that you didn't see.
What is being shown to you.
How do we let ourselves been seen in this dance and how we we see others.
let this dance be an immersive unfolding or let it be the way you shake off the winter and emerge into the new light of spring.
Somatic Dance is a guided free form embodied movement journey, held in a non-judgmental space where all of you is welcome.
No prior dance experience is necessary and all bodies are welcome.
Come and move your body to the rhythm of your soul, ready to deepen your connection with yourself and others.
The guidelines are simple: No booze (or intoxicants), or talking in the dance. No phones.
Slip deep into the layers of your body, supported by a carefully chosen epic music and a beautiful group of humans.
Fully embody your truest expression, release debris and allow movement to show you your fullness.
Wear clothes you are comfortable swirling, twirling and bouncing in (layers are great), bring a drink bottle and a drop or two of curiosity!
Your guides on this journey
Jody Brown, a woman dedicated to the path of the heart and the embodiment of our humanity and connection for the purpose of discovering our own rich and deep authentic truth and freedom.
Jody has spent years in embodiment and inquiry practices and has been teaching yoga since 2012, has trained in Somatic Therapy, Zenthai Shiastu, Somatic Dance and is learning from her great teachers, LIFE and her own heart as she goes and grows.
Carolyn McCormack is an advocate of pursuing one’s dreams and aspirations, She believes that what truly matters is personal happiness, regardless of other peoples opinions. She has embraced wellness throughout her life, and despite dealing with old injuries and a hearing impairment, she continues to live life on her own terms.
On this journey the welcoming vibe of The Yoga Tree will hold us as we dance.
