Event description

In this 4-week journey you will immerse yourself in a somatic experience that goes beyond dance. Through sensory practices, theatrical explorations, and somatic movement, we will awaken awareness in every part of the body, reconnecting with our femininity and with the creative power rooted in the womb and pelvis. These centers are not only physical, but also symbolic spaces of creation, resilience, and transformation.

The workshop invites us to reconnect with ourselves and with each other as women co-creating safe spaces for our authenticity, recognizing the unique force that emerges when we come together in embodied presence. In this collective space we will honor our cycles, our creativity, and our ancestral roots through the body.

The last two weeks will open the path to Bullerengue, a traditional Afro-Colombian dance of fertility and feminine strength. With greater awareness of our movement, we will learn its basic steps and use skirts as extensions of our bodies, discovering how each gesture becomes an expression of rhythm, root, and freedom.
