This offering weaves somatic ritual with dance — blending embodied movement with the art of learning steps and choreography. Rooted in styles such as Indian Tribal Fusion, Afro Dance, Hip Hop, Flooding, Butoh, and Freestyle, we draw inspiration from these forms — and from our own authentic movement — to co-create a piece of movement art.

Acknowledging the experience of collective grief and desire for liberation that we are facing on a global scale, this dance offering is an invitation to a space that honours sensitivity, feeling and aliveness - and values the importance of play, joy and expression - through the medium of dance and storytelling. This is for those who desire to learn more ‘steps’, to expand your language of movement and how you articulate yourself through the body.

Structured with a focus on somatic embodiment and on dance choreography, participants will leave with tools to anchor them into their body, with new dance steps and at the completion of the course, a full piece of choreographed expression that will be filmed. This is a space to meet your edges, play with them and explore your self through dance in a group setting.
