Win an Ed Sheeran Baritone PRS Guitar - Something about Singing for Freedom
Description
As musicians, we have an opportunity to engage with people in a way few others do - this week a musician was dropped from a tour because he said something that really shouldn't be seen as controversial - as a small business do we have the power to solve the world's problems? Not really, but there's also things we can do about them in our own backyard.
We stock Paul Reed Smith guitars, and we love them. One of the guitars that we especially love is the PRS Ed Sheeran Baritone Hollowbody - it's truly an inspiring guitar, and we've decided that we have an opportunity to do something to help, in our own small way.
This guitar retails for nearly $3000, so we're raffling it off at $30 a ticket, with profits to be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders Emergency Palestinian Relief fund. This raffle is open Australia wide, but if you're not local you'll need to cover shipping to your destination if you win it (we'll pack it and send with care).
FAQs
- Where does the money go?
We're donating the profits to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders - you can check out their website here - https://msf.org.au/issue/genocide-gaza
We'll post a photo of the donation receipt when we transfer it over.
- Do we hate a particular religion/group?
No, we do not. We're doing this because everyone deserves the right to raise their families without the threat of extermination.
- Is this a real guitar?
Yes, and we'll post some photos and videos on socials, or you can come have a play in store (and if this one sells, we'll order another one to use for the raffle prize!)

- When will the raffle end?
We're not sure - we've put an end date of December 31st, but if we sell heaps we'll close it off sooner - obviously we want to donate the maximum amount we can, but also time is a factor since they need funds right now to support doctors and emergency aid on the ground, so we'll make a call on that when we decide there's a solid amount to donate.
- Why are there fees for the tickets?
We want to pass on as much of this money as possible, so we're asking for you to cover the fees for online ticket sales
- How will you choose a winner?
We'll use a randomised generator with all the buyer names in there - we'll make sure if you buy multiple tickets that we give you that many entries in the random draw too. We'll post a description of how it's done, and show the result (with name blocked for privacy if requested) at the end of the draw.
