Leading Women of Wine: A Conversation [VIC]
Event description
Join us for a Q&A session with a panel of leading women in the wine industry – Amy Oliver (Head Sommelier, Pt. Leo Estate), Erena Crowley (Owner, Barwon Heads Cellar), Hilary Fordham (State Manager, Mezzanine Fine Wine), Leanne Altmann (Beverage Director, Trader House) and Sue Hodder (Senior Winemaker, Wynns Coonawarra Estate) – moderated by Sommeliers Australia's Gill Sykes (Wine House).
Hear from our panel as they discuss the challenges faced in gaining leadership positions, the strategies employed to overcome them, and the benefits and rewards they have reaped in their position along with the unique contribution they offer.
This is a special opportunity to gain insight into the changes these women have seen over the years, and hear opinions about what still needs to change in order to get more women into leadership roles within the wine industry.
