Welcome to Sommeliers Australia's online tasting series ‘Discover Variety’.

For our final Discover Variety session in 2020, join Sommeliers Australia's Kim Bickley (WSET Educator & Thomas Wines) and Matt Dunne (Joval Group), Semillon specialist Andrew Thomas (Thomas Wines) plus a guest speaker from Moss Wood as they delve into Semillon.

One grape, two styles, three regions. Frequently included in WSET tasting exams and tasted every year by the Masters of Wine, Semillon is one of the few white wines that can age for decades. Join our panellists as they taste and discuss the unsung hero of many international regions, and learn how to pick it in a blind tasting with ease.

Thomas 'Braemore' Single Vineyard Semillon, Hunter Valley Aust.  (750ml) – RRP $66

Moss Wood Semillon, Margaret River Aust.  (750ml) – RRP $37

Chateau Rieussec ‘Carmes de Rieussec’ Sauternes, Bordeaux France (375mls) – RRP $36

(Includes access to the Zoom session only. Attendees can take part using similar wines from their own cellars.)

This session will be hosted on Zoom, at 3pm AEDT.
Ticket holders will be contacted with the link and access info.

Note: If purchasing a Tasting Ticket, there’s no need to register for a Discover Ticket as well.
