Discover Corvina [ONLINE]

In this ‘Discover Variety’ online session, we’re exploring the versatility of Corvina!

With its origins in Italy, Corvina is a dark-berried, thick-skinned variety that is versatile enough to be made in several styles – from approachable dry/off-dry fruit driven styles to richer, fuller 'Amarone' styles.

See how adaptable this primarily Veronese variety can be, depending on how it’s made and where it’s grown.

To pass the time (appassimento!) and get to know Corvina and friends, join Sommeliers Australia's Lisa Cardelli (Terroir Selections) and Wiremu Andrews (Dearth of a Salesman), and their esteemed guest – the Don of Aussie-style Amarone – Brian Freeman (Freeman Vineyards).
