Country is calling our women to connect on Darug/Darkinjung Land to Share, Learn, Explore & Listen.

A coming together of First Nations Women to unite & showcase their cultural teachings in one celebration under the stars and on the earth...

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and pay our respects to all custodians past, present and future.

This weekend will be an overflowing of valuable wisdom, Connecting to other Women, skills to share with your community & deeper knowledge around First Nations Women. A weaving of deeper reciprocity for our Earth.

Our mission :  

- Create a culturally safe space to showcase the women behind their First Nations businesses by curating Australia’s first all-women First Nations festival, Songline Dreaming. 

- Re-learning & returning to the First Nations ways of reciprocity, care, & connection we invite you back into deep relationship with country, community & self. 

- A necessity for individual and collective healing and well-being, for our planet, and for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.

Our motivation : 

-  Correct the fact that all Australian Community Gatherings, Wellness Festivals, & Design Exhibitions are showcasing & supporting less than 1% of FIRST NATIONS OWNED, OPERATED or WOMEN LEAD BUSINESSES. 

ENERGIES TO CELEBRATE : 

 - This is a festival for all Women to attend.

 - 100% of facilitators are First Nations women. 

 - We pride ourselves on being cultural sensitive to all peoples.

 - It is a weaving of women from all over Australia, bringing their Songlines together.

 - A global conference of maidens, mothers, queens and crones.

Please note: That boys under the age of 5 can attend the event, ages older are not permitted due to protocol. 

Cabin & Glamping accomodation options are not included in event ticket price and are an additional cost. Please see below.

Food

There will be food available as a part of your ticket price. We provide meals made with love from organic and local produce from farms in the region.

Included in your ticket price will be an Saturday night buffet style meal.

We will be having a pot-luck style dinner on the Friday night which we will supply more information about once tickets are purchased.

Please note all other meals are not included in this price so please bring your all other meals including own snacks, fruit and enough drinking water for the duration of event.

BYO Plate, Cutlery and Cup as we do not provide to limit waste on site. 

Accommodation Options

CAMPING, VAN OR CAR CAMPING :  ( This option is included in ticket price)

Beautiful old-fashioned campsite is in a beautiful natural setting intersected by a small meandering  creek where you can sit around listening to the night sounds and gazing at the brilliant stars with the sound of water flowing around you.  

No powered sites.

There are some shady sites and extra space for you to spread out and enjoy some privacy.  

Facilities include toilets (YAY) and wonderful hot showers. 

This site is nestled in a spectacular gully surrounded by beautiful mountains.

BELLE TENTS : ( if you want to glamp it out..)

There will be 10 bell tents (tipi style tents) located in our campground. They are 5 meters in diameter, and  furnished with thick queen size mattress, fresh crisp linen, warm duvets and duvet covers, blankets, queen size bed, LED lights, side tables, rugs and other decorative touches.  

Guests are required to use the campground amenities, with toilets & showers.  

Glamping tent price is not included in event ticket price. This is an additional cost. 

BUNK STYLE CABINS  (BUNK in with friends .. So fun..!)

Cabins accommodate 4-6 women.

Please bring your own own pillows, linen, toiletries & towels.

The supplied mattresses are quite thin with a solid timber base, so please bring extra single camping mattresses / extra padding if needed. 

Cabin price is not included in event ticket price. This is an additional cost. 

Scholarships 

Scholarship tickets are based on camping, van or car camping & volunteer support for set and/or pack down.

Volunteers

Volunteers must be 15yrs and over. 

If you are pregnant, injured or unable to lift please refrain from applying to volunteer as we need able bodied women for these support roles.

Parking

Parking is included in your ticket. If possible we highly recommend ride-sharing to minimize the impact on the land and space taken by cars. We can help at this end too.. just send us an email songlinedreaming@gmail.com

Phone Service

There is no reception on site so please bring cash for all healing offerings, food, and market stalls.

*** Upon purchasing your ticket, you agree to all of the following: please read carefully!

In exchange for participation in the activities organised by SONGLINE DREAMING, and/or the use of the property, facilities and services of SONGLINE DREAMING and Venue Provider, I agree for myself and (if applicable) for those minor children for whom I am the parent or guardian, to the following:

1. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any written or oral instructions or directions given by SONGLINE DREAMING or the employees, representatives or agents of SONGLINE DREAMING. I understand that SONGLINE DREAMING reserves the right to ask me or (if applicable) my children to leave and to remove me or (if applicable) my children, without any refund, if I do not follow any instructions or directions given by SONGLINE DREAMING.

2. I recognise that there are certain inherent risks associated with the activities and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my minor children or injury to my property, and further release, waive, discharge and agree not to sue SONGLINE DREAMING or Venue Provider, and each of their directors, officers, owners, affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns (the “Releasees”), for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, arising out of my or my children’s participation in the activities and use of property of or presence upon the facilities of SONGLINE DREAMING and Venue Provider, whether caused by the fault of myself, my children, SONGLINE DREAMING, Venue Provider, other participants or other third parties.

3. I agree to indemnify and defend Releasees against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my children’s participation in the activities and use of the property of or presence upon the facilities of ORIGINS and Venue Provider.

4. I agree to pay for all damages to the property or facilities of SONGLINE DREAMING and Venue Provider caused by my or my children’s negligent, reckless or willful actions.

5. I hereby give my consent to the first aid officer or associated personnel to provide me or my children with emergency medical assistance and/or treatment and agree to be financially responsible for the cost of such assistance and/or treatment.

6. I agree to allow SONGLINE DREAMING and Venue Provider to use my and my minor children's, if any, name and likeness in a photo or on videotape for promotional purposes or media releases.

7.    I agree to observe SONGLINE DREAMING zero tolerance policy for abusive language or behavior, threats, violence, or any form of bullying. If I engage in any of these actions I understand that ORIGINS reserves the right to ask me or (if applicable) my children to leave and to remove me or (if applicable) my children, without any refund.
