Songs of Soul, Sea and Sky with Martin Donnelly

Those who took part last year will have witnessed how Martin's music gives nourishment to the soul. We're delighted to welcome him back this year, to close our festival programme, as a gesture of warmth and gratitude to all our volunteers and to our wider Swell community.

Martin has spent a lifetime exploring the mysteries and wonder of life through music. Love; birth and death; the beauty of birdsong; the infinite radiant variation of the plant world; the changing moods of the seasons and the weather.

The longings of the human heart for love, for companionship, for intimacy, for home, for meaning, are woven through all his songs. Ultimately, these longings are of a spiritual nature.

When not making music Martin facilitates personal development courses with his partner Linda McKeown.

Martin has generously offered to play for Swell in exchange for NCCE waves, so we are able to offer this very special gig at a reduced price of £5, to cover Arcadia's overheads.
