//Led by the mesmerizing trio of Gracie Mack, Melanie G, and Rosa Mack, the Menajerie quartet weaves sultry harmonies with refined soul. Supported by Andrew Fincher on guitar, their electric live performances straddle a line between unvarnished reality and tongue-in-cheek sensuality. With the release of their dynamic, debut EP 'Selective Deafness' and receiving a finalist slot for the 2024 QMA in the Soul/Funk/R&B category, Menajerie have established themselves in the meanjin music scene. Menajerie pens joyous, heartbreaking and honest originals with a strong focus on tight vocal harmony and sacred feminine energy//

//Emerging from the shadows of Brisbane's northern suburbs comes singer-songwriter, producer, mou. His tracks layer rich emotional vocals and hypnotic guitar melodies that speak to the ebbs and flows of bittersweet nostalgia. For mou music is a way to cope with and find beauty in times of darkness. A way to make peace with the past and find a sense of self in the present. He draws on the beauty and organic warmth of electronic post-indie folk and is likened to artists such as Haux, RY X, Vallis Alps, LANKS and Vancouver Sleep Clinic. Following performances supporting artists such as Matt Corby, Gordi, Meg Washington and Hollow Coves. As well as taking home the QMA for World Music 2023, this year mou will release a full length Record with Rohin Jones (The Middle East) and hit the road with a hauntingly intimate live show//
