Songwriters 4 Climate Action Workshop #11 @ The Flagship **NOW ONLINE**
Event description
**With level 3.1 remaining for Tāmaki Makaurau we have moved this workshop ONLINE. Many thanks to The Flagship and Sustainable Coastlines; we hope to reschedule an in-person workshop at this wonderful eco venue in the future.**
Our focus will be workshopping songs and ideas for recording and video projects with Songwriters 4 Climate Action. New comers welcome to check out what we're up to.
Songwriters 4 Climate Action is a project intended to bring together community-based performers through a series of workshops and activities; to help support and inspire them to develop songs and artwork that highlight the challenges and hopes for climate action. Our aim is to work towards live performances and record songs / creative content (to a professional standard) that we can share on multiple platforms to help spread awareness and positivity around this kaupapa. Through this process we hope to build a supportive arts community and learn a thing or two along the way.
Holding Space Aotearoa is a Community Arts Trust with a focus on workshops, open mics and community engagement; creating opportunities & content for local artists in Tāmaki Makaurau.
