Songwriting & Recording Workshop

Join me for a 6 hour intensive workshop!

We dive into all things songwriting and recording.

• Song structures

• Creating feeling and emotion

• Connecting to a good story

• Making the music and choosing instruments

• Setting up recording hardware

• Recording our first sounds

• Bringing an entire song to life by the end of the day! Written and recorded by YOU!

The group sizes are small (max 5) to ensure that everyone gets the individual support they need in the process.

NO PRIOR MUSIC EXPERIENCE is required to get involved in the workshop

Kids that have groups of friends that play music together already are encouraged to join as a group to kickstart their journey into songwriting and recording together.

And the same goes for kids who just enjoy music and have a joint connection to it. Join with your friends! It can lead to a more comfortable fulfilling experience. But that being said, it’s a great opportunity to meet new humans who love music!

PLEASE BRING:

• Water and snacks

• Any instruments you have and might want to use (no matter your ability)

• Yourself, open minded and ready to engage!

Parents are welcome to stay around for the workshop - whatever feels most comfortable. I’ll be gauging what will be most beneficial for the kids and may request the space without parents in the same room.

AS A TEACHER OF OVER A DECADE, I HAVE ALL RELEVANT CLEARANCES FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN IN THIS CAPACITY
