🎶 Songwriting Bootcamp – Presented by Shelly Brown and Hosted by Resonator Music, Ballina 🎶

Get ready for a day of creativity and musical connection!

We’ll kick off with a soulful singing and harmony workshop led by vocalist and vocal coach Shelly Brown, setting the tone for collaboration and good vibes. Then, dive into a dynamic songwriting forum with games, lyric and melody exploration, respectful co-writing practices, jam sessions, and all the feel-good magic music brings.

After some light refreshments and chill time, it’s time to team up in songwriting breakout pairs—this is where the sparks really fly. You'll write, explore, and create something truly special.

This bootcamp is all about connection, creativity, and community. You’ll leave with new songs, new friends, and a deeper love for your craft. Whether you’ve joined Shelly’s Songwriting and Vocal Joy workshops, Brunch Choir sessions, or singing lessons before, or you're brand new to the fold—you’ll be in great hands.

Pairing people thoughtfully can make such a difference in a songwriting bootcamp. You will be asked to fill in some questions to help get a feel for skills, styles, and goals in the Expression of Interest; so you can be matched up in ways that bring out the best in each other. Then you'll be sent a code for Ticket Purchase. 

HOW MUCH IS IT?

 We're trying to keep costs as low as they can be. The aim here is to inspire and connect. 

The Cost is $95. This price INCLUDES a $20 Gift Voucher to spend at Resonator Music. You could get your guitar restrung while we sing and then write on fresh strings!

WHERE IS IT? We're hosted by the new address of Resonator Music in Ballina. You'll Find Resonator at 9 Ascott Road, Ballina. 

WHEN IS IT? Please arrive early for sign in for 10:30am on Sunday 15th June 2025. You'll be here till 2:30pm. 

WHO CAN ATTEND? This is a workshop for mature young adults and adults.

If you are not already, it is recommended that you Join APRA before attending this workshop. APRA AMCOS grants licences for the live performance, broadcast, communication, public playing or reproduction of its members' musical works.
