Songwriting Fundamentals

Songwriting Fundamentals is a fun and creative session for aspiring songwriters aged 10 and up.

Participants will explore the building blocks of songwriting, including developing ideas, writing meaningful lyrics, creating melodies, understanding song structure, and experimenting with rhythm and rhyme. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have ideas for your own songs, this session will encourage you to find your unique voice, build confidence, and turn your creativity into an original song.

No previous songwriting experience is required—just bring your instrument, imagination and a willingness to have a go! Though we'd also suggest a pen, lunch, snacks and a drink.
