A little bit about Amy’s success as a performer & musician:

Amy André is an indie/folk artist based in Sydney, crafting intimate and emotionally rich songs that explore themes of connection, memory, and quiet transformation. Her music blends poetic lyricism with a warm, resonant sound rooted in the shimmering harmonies of two guitars and layered chordal textures. With a background in classical music, Amy brings nuance and depth to her innovative approach to folk songwriting.

Since debuting in May 2025, Amy has quickly established herself as a captivating new voice in the Australian music scene. She performs regularly throughout Sydney’s Inner West and city venues, recently earning 3rd place at the Vivid Supper Club Open Mic Competition.

Performing alongside Carlos Castaneda II, multi-instrumentalist and fellow UNSW music graduate, the duo is grounded in collaboration. Carlos channels complex harmony through guitar voicings, creating lush, shimmering sonic landscapes that expand and redefine contemporary folk. Together, Amy and Carlos compose, arrange, and perform as a unified creative partnership, with a sound that is raw, refined, and forward-thinking.
