Sonorous Sunday Sound Bath & Reiki @ Soul Collective
Event description
Sonorous Sunday Sound Bath & Reiki!
Treat yourself to a late Sunday afternoon session of rest and relaxation, where you will be 'bathed' in sound frequencies and vibrations that will encourage a deep and peaceful state which will allow you to recharge and prepare you for the week ahead.Â
Through a combination of rhythm, vibration, melody and tone, Anita will create a sonorous soundscape with her carefully chosen instruments, vocals and intuitive musicality while you lie down in stillness and serenity.
This special session will also include reiki from Reneé. The details of what to expect with this modality are outlined further below.
Renee has worked at Cancer Council WA treating cancer patients and their carers and in this session will offer 2-3 reiki positions of hands on healing, or hands off aura healing, while you enjoy the sound bath. Renee Instagram

Reiki & what to expect
Reiki means universal life energy and is a hands on practice transferring energy for relaxation and healing. It is a gentle complementary therapy and it is common to become sleepy receiving reiki, experience tummy rumbles or sometimes release some tears and/or emotion. However in this mini treatment, you can most likely expect to experience deeper relaxation and receptivity to the sound healing. If you prefer the reiki element as non contact, please let Anita or Reneé know on entering the session. It is important that you feel comfortable. Please hydrate after the session as reiki triggers your body's natural healing process and water and herbal teas will assist in detoxification.
Parking
Free Parking is available on Vincent Street and Clarence Street.
