About Ina Jalil
Based in the nation's capital, Canberra, Ina Jalil is an award-winning pet photographer with a particular passion for capturing dogs.
With over a decade of experience behind her, Ina founded her business, Ina J Photography, in 2009, originally photographing a diverse range of genres, from family portraits to weddings and newborns. However, since 2019 Ina has since shifted her focus solely onto pet photography, devoting to capturing pets in all their glory. Recently Ina has also started mentoring pet photographers and photographers wanting to learn more about pet photography.
Ina has honed her craft to specialise in outdoor dog photography that showcases their unique personalities and and character in both portraits and action shots. For other types of pets or pet parents who prefer studio shots, Ina also offers studio photography in her home studio.
Ina's love for animals and photography has earned her several accolades, including winning the 2021 Local Business Awards for the Canberra Region. She also received the People's Choice Award in the Portrait Category of the 2022 Asia Pacific Photography Awards, and her work was a Runner Up in the Advertising and Editorial Category of the same competition. In addition, Ina's work has been shortlisted for the International Pet Photographer of the Year Awards for the past two years.
