Sony Macro Experience with Michelle Kennedy
Event description
Make tiny look massive — with a pro who lives and breathes it.
This is a hands-on macro workshop led by Michelle Kennedy, Sony digital imaging advocate, multi-award-winning macro & portrait photographer and digital artist. You’ll rotate through up to 10 shooting stations, each built around water droplets, bubbles, and dandelions, using the new Sony 100mm Macro lens. You’ll also get the rare chance to push beyond 1:1.7 and try ~2.8× magnification with a 2× teleconverter — so you can see exactly how far this lens can go.
What you’ll get
Expert coaching from Michelle — practical settings, clean lighting, repeatable results.
High-impact looks you can recreate tomorrow (no fluff, just what works).
Macro trials with a 2× teleconverter to test extreme detail at 2.8X magnification.
Take-home recipes for aperture, focus and lighting so you can reproduce the shots on your own kit.
Who it’s for
Freelancers, product shooters, content creators and keen beginners who want scroll-stopping macro without the trial and error.
Gear on the floor
Sony Alpha bodies + the new 100mm Macro, 2× teleconverter, Leofoto support, Aputure/Amaran lighting, gels, flags and backdrops. BYO camera welcome; demo units available.
