Event description
Come along and explore my dryland garden 'Sophie's Patch' which is a productive garden, an ornamental delight, drylands garden, and biodiversity hotspot. I love to share my passions with fellow gardeners whether beginners or experts and look forward to seeing you there.
Open gardens at Sophie’s Patch are more than just demonstrating the sustainable gardening practices that I am always preaching, they are more like a fair or community event focused on community education. Every open garden is different at Sophie’s Patch as the garden grows, different speakers and groups join, amazing sculptures are built and the garden evolves.
This year we have downloadable talks, nurseries, clubs and growers to share their knowledge, experience and passion and delicious catering for snacks and meals.
This season's delicious savoury box designed by Heather includes:
- Basil and Chard Yoghurt Flat Bread (rice crackers in the GF)
- Roasted Beetroot Hummus
- Roasted Summer Crop Tortilla
- Roasted Pumpkin and Tomato Arancini
- Zucchini, Spanish Red Onion and Chilli Pickle
Cake boxes contain three pieces of Sophie's Patch cake suitable for one person or two to share.
