SORTEE 2023

Register to join the discussion at the 2023 conference of the Society for Open, Reliable, and Transparent Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (SORTEE).

SORTEE is a service organisation which brings together researchers working to improve reliability and transparency through cultural and institutional changes in ecology, evolutionary biology, and related fields broadly defined.

Registration fees:

Attending as a 2023 SORTEE member: FREE (donations welcome)

To become a SORTEE member go to https://www.joinit.org/o/sortee/ (SORTEE membership fees range from $10 and $40 depending on career stage and also have a free option).

N.B. Your member ID can be found in your account on the membership information page on the SORTEE joinit website.

Attending as a Non-member: prices range from $30-$60 depending on career stage

Conference waivers: free

• Members of a fee-waivering organisation (American Society of Naturalists)


If for any reason you are unable to pay by credit card, a direct bank transfer can be arranged by contacting SORTEE’s treasurer Alexa Fredston (treasurer.sortee@gmail.com).

The conference schedule features 'unconference' discussions, hackathons, and workshops.

Accessibility:

The 2023 SORTEE conference will be held on Zoom, with the continuous conference program spanning all time zones.

Presentations will be in English and auto-captioning (in English) will be enabled for all presentations.
