SORTEE Webinar: Introducing Journal of Statistical Ecology

In this month's webinar, Frederic Barraquand joins us to introduce the Journal of Statistical Ecology (https://jse.centre-mersenne.org/), a newly created journal publishing research combining ecology and statistics. It is published in the diamond open access format (without article processing charges, funded by institutions) and builds notably on the community of the International Statistical Ecology Conferences. Frederic will cover the reasons why the journal was created, discuss the various open-access publishing models (and why they chose that one), some milestones and challenges along the way, and provide an overview of JSE's functioning, with guidelines for potential authors.
