SOS Solutions Dating #1
Event description
Get to know high-impact student-led sustainability solutions that you can join or copy to create institutional-level change.
The idea of "Solution Dating" is to create a match between you and one or more of these solutions, to amplify their impact globally. Like speed dating, but focused on impact ;)
Four members of Students Organizing for Sustainability (SOS) International will present their campaigns and programs to inspire you to take action on the climate emergency and explain how they will support you to do so.

Solutions that will be presented:
1. #ActonYourClimateScience campaign by Climate Students Movement
A global coalition mobilizing students to pressure their higher education institutions (HEIs) to commit to science-based climate targets. Join the campaign!
2. Change the Chamber campaign by The U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development
Students are taking on the largest dark money, pro-fossil fuel group in the United States, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which has a global influence on obstructing and potentially accelerating climate action. Help spread the campaign!
3. Student-led ranking programs by Studenten voor Morgen
Students rank Dutch higher education institutions, according to the extent to which they are acting on sustainability & including sustainability into introduction weeks. Copy their 2 programs in your country!
4. WhatCanIDoAboutIt?
A newly launched website aiming to become a central platform to inspire and support students to act, by helping students find and share good practice solutions. Help to build and use this resource!
