THE SHADOW SIDE OF SISTERHOOD

Welcome to this month’s 'Soul Mates Dates' - *The Shadow Side of Sisterhood*.

An embodied exploration to illuminate and alchemise the hidden, repressed and denied aspects of self in relation to sisterhood through authentic body-led expression.

It is my heartfelt intention for this to be a co-creative space for intuitive exploration and collective healing, weaving each voice as its own unique portal into feminine relating and sisterhood.

You will be invited to drop into the body, cultivating a sense of safety and deep listening in order to practice expressing from a place of raw, embodied authenticity.

Through breath, sound and movement we may offer these parts freedom beginning to dissolve any armor, integrate the exiled, and build new pathways for connection and intimacy.

In this circle, all of you and your experience is welcome. Light and dark. Depth and mystery.

Your tender heart, raging fires, exhaustion, ecstatic joy, laughter, play, pleasure & vulnerability. Your contractions & expansions, your self protective mechanisms, your dreams & desires.

They’re all welcome here, to be witnessed and held with love.

Whatever you are holding in the circle your medicine is needed…

Whether you hold caution, armouring, and fear around making connections, sharing your tender heart, and opening to love.

Whether you feel repulsed by the very notion of ‘sisterhood’.

Or maybe you find it easy to joyfully celebrate and call in other women.

Perhaps you yearn for deeper connection and intimacy in your life, longing to be seen beyond the roles you play and to be felt beyond the ‘surface-level’ interactions.

An Exploration of the Water Element 

Let's join together during this yin winter time and explore the Water element based on traditional Chinese medicine (tcm) theory. We will use qi gong and a blend of other body-based techniques to help support our kidneys and the Water Element flow of energy with the kidney and bladder meridians.
