Event description

"Consciousness is to all intents and purposes an organ, an eye or an ear to the soul"

CG Jung

The etymology of the word psychedelic has long been understood to mean "mind-manifesting." However, the original meaning of psyche referred to the soul, resonating with the term entheogen, originally meaning "to be inspired or possessed by God." Both terms tell us there is a psycho-spiritual process of the soul within the psychedelic experiences. Yet, even now, with the growth and rising popularity of psychedelics, the place of the soul within it is in the background.

How would our understanding of psychedelics shift if they were viewed through the lens of the soul? As psychedelics gain increasing recognition, what role does the soul play in our understanding of the psychedelic experience and its effects? How can we reintegrate soul, essence, and spirit into discussions of healing and personal growth? What does the process of soul-making and soul retrieval look like within the psychedelic experience and its integration?

Join us for a transformative exploration of the intersections of Jungian psychology, depth psychology, psychedelics and the art of soul-making! This seminar brings together experts and practitioners to discuss the role of the soul in the contemporary therapeutic applications of psychedelics. We will be delving into the archetypal, mythological and soulful aspects of the psychedelic journey and its integration.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the role of symbols, archetypes  and the process of soul discovery as vehicles for both personal and collective transformation, drawing from ancient wisdom and modern psychological practices. Expect to leave with soulful insights, practical tools, and a deeper connection to your own journey of soul making and self-discovery. Whether you are a practitioner a student of psychology, or simply curious about the depths of the human experience, this summit is a unique exploration of the psyche's vast landscape.
