Event description

Welcome to the Soul Seeker Retreat, a two-night immersive breathwork and nature-connection experience designed to help you reconnect with your true self and explore soul consciousness. ONLY 4 SPOTS REMAINING!

The soul is a shared spiritual concept across many spiritual and cultural traditions - depicted in stories and mythologies worldwide. While the body’s time on Earth is temporary and the mind analyses, often leaping between past and future, the soul remains as ever-present awareness. It holds the wisdom of what lies beyond the veil, dwelling in the stillness within. Even in the darkest times, it is the light of the soul that guides us—a wild and free essence within every being.

If we want the world to change, it has to start inside the human soul.
— Michael Meade

The Soul Seeker Retreat invites participants to reconnect with their true selves—the soul—through practices such as breathwork, nature connection, meditation, yoga, contemplation, and other embodiment techniques. In this journey of reconnection, we will realign and rewild, tuning into the inner wisdom of the heart and freeing ourselves from the constraints of the mind. Together, we will explore our capacity to listen to the wisdom within and rekindle our relationship with the wild one inside—the untamed essence that embodies freedom, joy, uniqueness, and a deep sense of belonging.

Together, we will release the stories and fears that keep us confined, opening to new ways of being. We will reconnect with the whole—whether through our own hearts, a sense of belonging in community, nature, or the universe. At this retreat, participants will engage in natural movement, nature-connection and ancient breathing techniques to awaken the body’s inner life force, fostering greater flow, inner-peace, and openness.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to join this intimate and intentional breathwork and embodiment retreat, set amongst the pristine Bamarang forest and cleansing waters of the Shoalhaven River. Limited spots available, no experience with breathwork or other practices necessary - this retreat is open to those new and experienced.

The most common form of despair is not being who you truly are.
— Kierkegaard

Bamarang Bush Retreat:

Set in the stunning foothills of Bamarang Nature Reserve along a quiet stretch of the Shoalhaven River, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to unplug from daily life and reconnect with yourself, nature, your body, and a community of like-minded people.

Bamarang Bush Retreat, a family-owned business, sits on 120 acres of ancient bushland in a prehistoric river valley. With handcrafted accommodations providing privacy and seclusion among towering gum trees, it’s only 2.5 hours from Sydney and Canberra, and one hour from Wollongong. The retreat welcomes environmentally conscious individuals seeking to return to nature in a creative and unique space.

Rooms are located across three houses with different bedding configurations. A limited number of private rooms (adjoining rooms) are available, and shared bathrooms are found across the retreat centre.

The lands of Bamarang are truly magical. When it rains, mountain pathways transform into waterfalls, and large boulders are nestled among gum trees and tree ferns. The Shoalhaven River Valley offers a place for healing and quiet contemplation. The retreat is located on the lands of the Wandi-Wandandian Tribe of the Yuin Nation. We acknowledge and give thanks to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
