Soulful Journaling: A Three Month Spring Writing Circle for Women

Spring is a season of renewal and growth and brings with it a sense of hope and optimism, making it the perfect time for women to engage in creative journaling as we navigate the changing seasons of life. As nature blossoms around us, we will draw inspiration from the vibrant colors, the first signs of spring, and fresh air to fuel our creativity, channeling this positive energy into our journaling practice.

Our new virtual offering, Soulful Journaling: a Three Month Spring Writing Circle For Women, is an incredible opportunity for women to come together virtually and embark on a transformative three-month journey of self-discovery and connection. Led by our compassionate and experienced teacher Anne Vivian, this writing circle offers a warm and welcoming community for women from all walks of life to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences in a safe and private virtual space.

  • These virtual gatherings will take place on Friday, March 29, April 26, and May 31, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (ET) on Zoom.
  • Participants will receive PDFs before each session, providing them with prompts and guidance to kickstart their journaling practice.
  • Additionally, follow-up emails will be sent after each circle, allowing participants to reflect on their experiences and continue their growth between sessions. 

One of the most beautiful aspects of this writing circle is that no previous experience with journaling is required. You don't need to consider yourself a writer or believe you are creative. Anne understands that many women may feel unsure about where to start or doubt their ability to express themselves through writing. However, everyone possesses the necessary tools within themselves to engage in transformative journaling.

Throughout the three months, you will have the opportunity to connect with something deeper within yourself. You will explore their thoughts, emotions, dreams, and desires through the power of journaling. This process allows individuals to uncover hidden gems within themselves – jewels that have always been present but may have gone unnoticed.

Creating or strengthening a writing practice that brings us back to our own deep wisdom is essential for personal growth and well-being. By gaining insight from other women's stories, finding regular time for nourishing ourselves through writing and reading, as well as stepping away from life's distractions; we can reconnect with ourselves on a deeper level. In doing so, we open up the possibility of living more authentically aligned lives filled with purpose and fulfillment. By embracing this practice during springtime specifically tailored towards women's needs, we can tap into our creativity, reflect on our aspirations, and find solace in the beauty of nature. Creative journaling can become a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth during this transformative season.

All participants will receive a special gift of a Friends of the Forest mug with three specially crafted teas for each month’s gathering. The act of sharing tea has long been associated with friendship, relaxation, and connection. By providing women with a special mug and tea each month, we aim to continue to create an environment where women can come together, share stories, support one another, and forge lasting friendships- no matter the format. 

The Details

  • $135.00 pp for all three sessions
  • We’re a very small, intimate women’s circle, with a maximum of 12 participants
  • We meet in a cozy Zoom space on Fridays: March 29, April 26, and May 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (ET)
  • These gatherings are held via Zoom. Access link will be delivered via email one day prior to the event from Anne
  • All participants will receive a Friends of the Forest mug with three months of specially crafted tea for each month’s gathering
