SoulPlay Sofa Sessions

This is a new series of regular events with sweet sounds from super talented musicians, a laid back atmosphere, & cuddles on the couches.

Rafe Pearlman & Daniel Berkman 
Let's sing together warm our hearts in spirit, song and community! Rafe Pearlman started his singing career with the wolves, ravens and sled dogs of the Alaskan wilderness. His intention with his music is to inspire a vision of a world in harmony and unity, celebrating diversity, sustainability, and equality for all beings. Sometimes a simple song is all it takes to open a connection. He'll be playing with Daniel Berkman, a San Francisco-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, accompanist, singer-songwriter, electronic musician, looper, producer, film and dance score composer and innovator of electro-acoustic music, specializing in the kora (a 21-stringed west african harp).

Tickets are available via sliding scale: $25, $35, and $40. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.

Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.

The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The venue is ADA accessible. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-381-1997.
