Sound and Soul Mixed Gender Singing Circle
Description
Sound & Soul is a monthly mixed-gender gathering created as a space to step away from the rush, noise and busyness of everyday life and return to something slower, deeper and more human.
Together, we’ll explore gentle nervous system regulation and embodied connection practices, including intentional eye gazing, presence, breath, and opportunities to share from the deeper parts of our hearts — without needing to perform, fix or have all the answers.
We’ll gather in circle, light candles and create simple ritual together. We’ll sing medicine songs, share our voices, listen to one another and make space for whatever is alive within us.
You don’t need to be a singer, spiritual, experienced with circles, or particularly confident. You’re welcome to simply arrive as you are.
This is a mixed-gender space, with an intention of cultivating genuine intimacy, vulnerability and connection between people in a way that feels grounded, respectful and consensual. Participation in individual practices is always by choice.
I hold qualifications in Counselling and Community Services, and my intention is to facilitate a space that honours emotional safety, personal boundaries and authentic human connection.
Sound & Soul will be held monthly, allowing a community to slowly form over time — a place to keep returning to, reconnecting and remembering that we were never meant to do life entirely alone.
Come as you are.
Slow down.
Breathe.
Sing.
Listen.
Be witnessed.
Connect. 🤍
What to bring 🌿
Please bring:
A water bottle
A journal and pen if you feel called to write
A blanket or anything that helps you feel comfortable sitting in circle
Comfortable clothing you can move and relax in
Most importantly, an open heart and willingness to be present
Arrival & doors
Please arrive with enough time to settle in before we begin.
Doors will close promptly at 6:30pm. Once the circle begins, we won’t be admitting late arrivals. This is important for creating a contained, uninterrupted and safe space for everyone participating.
I recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so you can find your place, get comfortable and transition out of the day before we begin.
I will be serving sacred Cacao to help open our hearts. If you have heart issues or take antidepressants please let me know,
If you are currently in financial hardship and would still like to attend please reach out as I don’t want anyone to miss out on community when they really need it.
This event will take place in Kincumber at my home, address will be send out once your booking has been confirmed.
