The Wednesday Reset: Sound Bath with HERO + Genesis

The Wednesday Reset: Sound Bath with HERO + Genesis

An unexpected place to let the day melt away.

Behind an unassuming entrance in DTLA, Bu Tea Den opens into a hidden tea lounge and creative space. It's a welcoming room with soft lighting, art, and thoughtful comforts to help you settle in.

On Wednesdays, HERO + Genesis fill the Den with the sounds of gong, didgeridoo, and shakuhachi, a Japanese bamboo flute. The gong brings sweeping waves of resonance. The didgeridoo adds a deep, earthy drone. The shakuhachi offers delicate, breath-filled melodies. Together, they create an immersive live experience that moves between powerful vibration and quieter moments of listening.

You don't need to meditate a certain way or know anything about sound baths. Come as you are, get comfortable, and let HERO and Genesis guide the experience.

Settle in. We'll take care of the details.

Slip off your shoes and into guest slippers. We'll have an eye mask to help you turn inward, a warm or cool towel, and a comfortable place to be still. It's spa-like care in a setting that feels personal, creative, and unexpected.

• 75-minute session: 60 minutes of sound, then 15 minutes to ease back into your evening over tea

• Your eye mask is yours to take home

Choose when you arrive. Lie down on a yoga mat for a more restful, restorative experience, or settle into a lounge chair for a more upright, active way to experience the sound. Think about what you need that day, and we'll help you get comfortable.
