FAQs
- Do I need any prior experience?
Not at all! This workshop is designed to welcome curious beginners and support more experienced practitioners alike. Natalie has experience teaching students of all levels. You’ll be gently guided every step of the way.
- What should I bring?
Please bring a water bottle, a notebook and pen, a mug for tea, and an open heart. You’re welcome to bring your own instruments (optional). We’ll have plenty on hand.
- Can I buy instruments at the workshop?
Yes — a curated selection of sound healing instruments and accessories will be available for purchase during the weekend if you’re feeling inspired to continue at home. You will also receive advice on where to purchase instruments and how to choose them.
- Is this suitable for practitioners or wellness professionals?
Absolutely. Many yoga teachers, therapists, bodyworkers and coaches join this workshop to expand their skillset and integrate sound into their existing practice.
- What’s the refund policy?
I understand that life happens, so I’ve created a fair and flexible cancellation policy.
Full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the workshop (by 29 August 2026).
50% refund if you cancel 7–13 days before the workshop (30 August–5 September 2026).
Unfortunately, refunds are not available within 7 days of the workshop (from 6 September onwards), as places are limited and late cancellations are difficult to fill.
✨ Tickets are fully transferable up to 24 hours before the workshop (by 11 September 2026). If you can’t attend, you’re very welcome to send someone in your place. Just email me at info@soundflow.com.au with their name and contact details.
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule the workshop, participants will be offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to a future date.
- What are the event times?
The workshop runs from 10:00am to approximately 5:00pm on both days. Doors will open around 9:45am. I always aim to finish on time, but occasionally we may run a little over depending on the group and questions that arise. If you're on a tight schedule, you're welcome to leave right at 5pm.
- Is this workshop certified?
You’ll receive a Sound Flow Certificate of Completion at the end of the workshop. While this weekend offers powerful foundational training, sound therapy is a deep and nuanced field — particularly because we’re often working with vulnerable individuals. This is an ideal starting point, and there will be opportunities to continue your training beyond this weekend.
- I have a health condition, disability or food allergy — can I still attend?
Absolutely. I’m happy to discuss any health concerns or possible contraindications with you in advance — please feel free to get in touch directly at info@soundflow.com.au. I also cater for food allergies and intolerances with the provided snacks, so please let me know your needs when booking. Please note: the room is accessible via stairs only.
- Where is the venue and how do I get there?
The workshop is held at a beautiful, purpose-designed sound healing studio in Petersham, Sydney. It’s walking distance from the train station and there’s free street parking nearby.
- Is the venue accessible?
The studio is on the second floor, up a flight of stairs, so unfortunately it’s not wheelchair accessible.
- Will there be breaks / food provided?
Yes — there will be regular breaks, with light refreshments (tea, snacks) provided. You’re welcome to bring your own lunch or step out to nearby cafes.
