Sound in the Gallery with Ancient Song Therapy

About the Event:

Join Ancient Song Therapy for a unique sound experience at the Eno Arts Mill and Gallery the Second Saturday of each month. With each monthly exhibition of art in the gallery space, we will explore concepts that are shared between the mediums of visual art and sound. This event is all about contemplation as each of these arts effect us in a variety of ways.

Please bring a yoga mat, cushion, and comfort items for extended meditation.

We will gather in the gallery space at 9:30 and have a few minutes to set up and view the art on exhibit. Attendees can choose one piece as a focal point, or bring the effect of the overall show to their mats and into meditation. A sonic landscape will be provided by a variety of instruments-- singing bowls, percussion, chimes, and vocals--highlighting the concepts of tone, color, frequency, and mood. There will be an opportunity for sharing and discussion before we end at 10:30.

Note: Fees may apply to online orders. You may also pay in person at the Eno Arts Mill and Gallery front office anytime before the event.
