Event description

Sound NSW Contemporary Music Development Grants – First Nations Online Information Session

Sound NSW's Contemporary Music Development Grants are designed to support career sustainability for artists and acts to create and promote new music and enable music organisations to deliver significant sector development projects. Two dedicated First Nations programs are available to support artists, acts and organisations essential to the contemporary music sector in NSW.

Sound NSW is hosting an online information session for First Nations artists, industry professionals and music businesses to provide more details about the program and guidance on navigating the application process.

This session will cover an overview of the grants and the ins and outs of the dedicated First Nations programs.

For artists and acts -

Supports First Nations NSW artists and acts to create, record and promote new and original contemporary music, undertake professional development opportunities and purchase equipment essential to their music career.

For organisations -

Supports First Nations-led organisations to deliver programs and resources that build the capacity of artists, industry professionals, address best practice and emerging trends, promote First Nations music in NSW and deliver research and advocacy.

Please visit the Contemporary Music Development Grants page on the Sound NSW website for more information and helpful resources.
