Sounds of Soil for Earth
Event description
Sounds of Soil for Earth
Join us for a delectable journey of “re-story-ing” healthy soil food webs and restoring our health with nourishing foods and sounds.
This is a multi-sensory experience featuring soil portals, interspecies interaction, and group engagement led biodiverse soil food webs and sound stewards.
We will explore the chemistry of food as edible “soil” and the alchemy of sound as “soul” renewal.
Come play with food, soil, and sound!
What if your next bite could heal the planet?
The immersive meal begins where the menu is living soil—re-imagined as beet-carrot “loam” salad, slow-cooked dal "micro-bacterial slurry", “compost" chutney, and semolina crumble "desertification".
Following this sumptuous meal is a delicious sound immersion with crystal bowls, gongs, and drumming.
Experience sound as the integrator of the immaterial energy of food and the frequency of soil for individual and planetary regeneration.
This is a culinary collaboration of savory food, ritual, and sacred sound between Shradda Borawake, Chutneyverse founder and interdisciplinary Artist and Elaine Kohrman, Sacred Sound Explorer.
What to Expect
Vegetating solutions for the future from mycelium to root to shoot to seed to sprout, with the help of radishes, mushrooms, mung beans, sweet potato and greens, we convene around a nourishing meal that germinates hope for the collective future.
Soil for Earth was born out of an engagement with Deep Food. This lead to a cocreation during the eclipse of 2024 by Shanhaun Manton and Shraddha. It soon manifested as the meal above with many interspecies earth stewards including Dash, Lovening agent, Paulina, Soy, Shreema, Nabil and Gayatri; during Climate Week.
This project is evolving, growing roots on its own will, as a portal for propagating loving actions in a reactive world.
Graciously supported by Elaine Kohrman, Soil for Earth, finds a new home in its peregrine, in Albuquerque.
Menu will be pure vegetarian, Indian influenced. Gluten free, vegan.

Co-Hosts
Chutneyverse is a food sovereignty club, lovingly curated by artist Shraddha Borawake, rooted in Bhakti's devoted flow. A flow called Bhaav, it is a call to divine oneness with communal nourishment. Drawing from ayurveda's sattvic wisdom and Indian agriculture's sacred rhythms, we honor the gunas' gentle balance, fostering peaceful coexistence with each bite, digesting planetary truths together.
Various themes, adorn a traveling project. Every-time, creating space for food – as prana's gift. With unique & pure, regenerative co-created thalis shared in conscious circles.
Everything Chutneyverse is infused with prayer and intention. Amid the commercial haze, lets reclaim sovereignty through communal feasts, bridging heritage and hope with fresh chutneys and warm encounters.
