South African Meet & Greet & Sokkie evening - August

Price $15 – $30 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

Join us for a South African Expats Meet & Greet, including a sokkie!

Whether you're a recent arrival or a long-time expat, we're excited to connect with our fellow South Africans and provide a welcoming space for local meetups. We're eager to meet you and expand our community!

After our recent success with our first Sokkie - we are now permanently including it! Situated right next to our indoor play structure, you can sokkie while your littles play next to you. We have the venue, music and a large space to get those legs moving! We also made the event a little bit longer because we saw that you guys are having way to much fun to already leave again at 9pm!

Event Includes:

  • Introductions: Hosted by Elma, we'll ensure you feel welcome and introduce you to others. Enjoy conversations, food, and even try your hand at ceramic painting!
  • Kids Entertainment: Let the little ones enjoy our indoor play centre while the whole family relaxes and has fun.
  • Food: A meal AND dessert is included with your ticket price - this time it will be a mild Bunny chow (With extra hot sauce if you like yours spicey) and a slice of Melktert
  • We have snack boxes and biltong/droewors available for sale on the night

Date: 24 August, 6:30pm to 11:30pm

Location: Mug 'n Brush - 5 Mackinnon Street, Rockingham. Entrance from the large carpark at the back.

Come dressed with your best smiles and warm hearts as we celebrate our South African heritage together.

Note: Please RSVP in advance for attendance and catering purposes. Bar available within the licensed area; outside food and drinks not permitted. Children must be supervised by parents and wear socks on the play structure. Please note that due to our licencing regulations, alcoholic drinks cannot be taken onto the Sokkie dance area or playground area.
