South African Meet & Greet & Sokkie Evening - March
Event description
Join us for a traditional Sokkie AKA Dance, South African style!
Whether you're a recent arrival or a long-time expat, we're excited to connect with our fellow South Africans and provide a welcoming space for local meetups. Anyone who wants to experience a bit of South African culture and dance the night away with us is welcome - not just limited to Born and Bred South Africans so feel free to bring along your Aussie friends!
After our success with our first Sokkie - we are now permanently including it! Situated right next to our indoor play structure, you can sokkie while your littles play next to you. We have the venue, music and a large space to get those legs moving! We also made the event a little bit longer because we saw that you guys are having way to much fun to already leave early!
Event Includes:
- Introductions: Hosted by Elma, we'll ensure you feel welcome and introduce you to others. Enjoy conversations, food, and even try your hand at ceramic painting!
- Kids Entertainment: Let the little ones enjoy our indoor play centre while the whole family relaxes and has fun.
- Food: A delicious South African meal WITH the choice of purchasing dessert - this time we will be serving Bobotie with yellow rice and salad. Malva pudding with ice-cream can be purchased additionally.
Date: 15th of March 6:30pm to 11:00pm
Location: Mug 'n Brush - 5 Mackinnon Street, Rockingham. Entrance from the large carpark at the back.
Come with warm hearts and your best dance moves as we celebrate our South African heritage together.
