South Coast Boardriders 60th Jubilee

Join us as the South Coast Boardriders club celebrates 60 years of surfing, friendship, and

community with a special weekend reunion and celebration on 20-21 November 2026. The event

brings together generations of surfers, members, families, and friends to honour six decades of South

Coast surfing history.

The weekend kicks off on Friday at 6 pm at the clubrooms for an official welcome, memorabilia

displays and plenty of time to reconnect with old and current mates over a beverage and nibbles.

On Saturday afternoon, 1- 4 pm, competitors of all ages will meet at the clubrooms at 1 pm to take

part in the Yeti Tag Team surfing event at St Clair, featuring mixed-age teams, classic surfboards, and

plenty of fun both in and out of the water. Come along and support, even if not competing.

The celebrations continue into the evening, with the club open from 5 pm-12 am, with a BBQ

dinner at 6 pm, followed by prize-giving and stories from the club's founding members. In true South

Coast fashion, there will be live local music, and a chance to celebrate the people, waves, and

memories that have shaped South Coast Board Riders since 1966.

Whether you're a former or current committee member, president, surfer, competitive

surfer, social member, or supporter- this milestone event promises a memorable weekend filled with

nostalgia, laughter, and South Coast spirit.
