Event description

South Coast Writers Centre members, both existing and prospective, are invited to morning tea hosted by the SCWC's Committee of Management, Saturday 2 November, 10-11am.

Listen to a discussion on the future of poetry and whether the South Coast should have its own poet laureate. Two local poets—Luke Patterson, member of the Ngana Barangarai team, and Steve Meyrick, poet and publisher with Five Islands Press—share their view on the poor cousin of fiction in a panel facilitated by SCWC Chair, Peter Frankis.

Members are then invited to stay for the SCWC's AGM from 11am-12pm to hear our report on the work of the South Coast Writers Centre, and are also invited to nominate for positions on the Committee of Management. Join us in person or via Zoom, link below.
