South Island Game Fishing and Bar Crossing Seminar with Dan Govier

Join Dan Govier and the team from Coastguard at Hunting and Fishing Nelson for a night discussing game fishing in the South Island. Dan will be sharing his vast experience chasing Bluefin Tuna along the West Coast, as well as the emerging Marlin fishery that is developing near Westport.

In addition to some great advice about how to set your boat up for game fishing, we will be sharing some local information about how to cross Westcoast bars and what extra tips you need to know when fishing in the South Island’s unique conditions.

This session is all about preparing anglers for a safer, more successful game fishing. the event is casual, free and all welcome.
