Join us for a walking tour down Toorak Road. Passing by key heritage sites, including the Yuncken Freeman-designed library, you'll learn about the suburb's development from the 1840s, when British colonists punted across the river, through to the present day, with the arrival of high-rise luxury living on Chapel Street.
The library’s main entrance is on Toorak Road. The talk will be held in the basement meeting room, accessible by lift or stairs. The tour is optional, and involves walking west up Toorak Road hill.
