Jay Pathak (by video)
Jay Pathak (by video) is the National Director of Vineyard USA. He also serves as the Lead Pastor of the Mile High Vineyard, a family of neighborhood churches in Denver, that he and his wife Danielle, planted in 2001.
Joel Seymour
Joel Seymour first saw a video of John Wimber while still in his teens…and it captured a sense of spiritual home. In 1998, he planted the Lancaster Vineyard (Ohio) with his wife Kristi which he pastored for 23 years. He became deeply engaged in his city, bringing together the social, private, and public sectors through a city-wide Art of Neighboring initiative. Joel also started the Small Town initiative within Multiply Vineyard. He has since transitioned to a new role on Vineyard USA's National Leadership Team as SRL, Director of Regional Leadership and Support, serving multiple Regional Leaders and their corresponding local churches, providing the necessary training and support.
Brad Bailey
Brad Bailey currently serves as the interim Regional Leader for Southern and Central California churches. He previously served as the Lead Pastor of the Westside Vineyard for 33 years and is deeply grateful for all those years and the lives that were shared. He has also served the larger Vineyard movement as an Area Leader and Missions Partnership Leader for Vineyard India. He is blessed by the partnership he has shared with his wife Leah for over 35 years, and their four young adult children.
David Parker
David Parker is Pastor Emeritus of the Desert Vineyard Church. He has been given a unique view of our movement and ministry. During the Vineyard movements earlier years, David was placed alongside many spheres of leaders on John Wimber’s behalf. He was then called as the succeeding pastor of the Desert Vineyard, one of the of the earliest and largest Vineyard churches. He served as the Lead Pastor for over 30 years, during which time the church grew substantially in size and reputation for welcoming the lost. He has been a featured speaker at Vineyard and New Wine conferences, serves various churches in Southern California, as he and his wife Nancy of 48 years enjoy time with their children and grandchildren.
Nathan McWherter
Nathan McWherter is the Lead Pastor of the Desert Vineyard, a loving husband to Jenna, and father to Caleb, Theodore, and Eden. Reliance on Christ is foundational to his leadership as he dedicates himself to revitalizing the Church through discipleship and missional living, as well as planting churches across Southern California.
Michelle Wilson
Michelle Wilson has served as senior pastor of Coast Vineyard in San Diego for the last 20 years. She holds a PhD in Theology from Fuller Seminary where her studies focused on growing disciples who love their enemies in Vineyard churches. She and her husband Jamie have three adult biological children who have given them four adorable young grandchildren. Over the last eight years, they have also had the privilege of being foster parents to twelve teenage refugees from various countries in Africa and Asia.
Doug Schaupp
Doug Schaupp served as the National Director of Evangelism for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. After a group of InterVarsity students created a safe space for his own experience “as crazy freshman to explore Jesus,” he has gratefully sought to serve the same through the generations. He and his wife have served in both Korean-American, and African-American church contexts. He is based in Los Angeles and graduated from Fuller Seminary. He is a coauthor of Being White, I Once Was Lost, and Breaking the Huddle. Breaking the Huddle is Outreach Magazine's "outreach resource of the year" (2018).
Aisha Oyarekhua
Aisha Oyarekhua serves as the Pastor of Evangelism and Justice at the Valley Vineyard Church, CA. She is also a Justice Ambassador for Prison Fellowship International, a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in foster care, and the Vice President of Christian Legal Society in Los Angeles.
Travis Twyman
Travis Twyman leads the Inland Vineyard Church in Corona. Having grown up in the Vineyard movement, he is passionate about the Word-and-Spirit reality at the heart of Vineyard culture. Travis loves to preach and teach, blending historical exegesis with practical application and the conviction that when Jesus is seen clearly, he is absolutely irresistible. An avid reader and lifelong learner, Travis holds master’s degrees in Homiletics and NT Literature and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Ethics at Fuller. Travis recently celebrated 30 years of marriage to “the most exciting woman God ever made.” They have three grown children, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and an amazing grandson, William. His life mission is: “To learn so that I might love, teach, and lead my family and God’s family to change the world in large and small ways.”
Jon Maurer
Jon Maurer is the Lead Pastor of the Foothill Vineyard in San Dimas CA which has grown to over 400 in weekly attendance. However, Jon focuses their growth on church health, as they embrace the process offered through Natural Church Development (NCD) which looks at eight qualities found in thriving churches. Jon is a certified Spiritual Director and NCD Coach. He now serves as the Vice President of NCD for the U.S. and is exploring greater ways NCD can serve Vineyard churches. He and his wife Kate are raising five “wonderful kids.”

Yes. Spanish translation will be provided.

Yes. There will be the option to sign up for individual sessions for $20 each. You will be able to sign up at the door.
- Is there any discounted registration for members of the Desert Vineyard?
Yes. Any member of the Desert Vineyard who formally volunteers in any role to help host the conference may attend for free. If not volunteering, then regular registration applies.
