Stanley Landcare Southern Greater Glider Walk

We are gearing up for our next Greater Southern Glider supper & walk for those who missed out on our last successful walk on 30 August 2024. Please see below comments from that walk:

Hi Jim,

I wanted to extend a sincere thank you to you and your family for organising such a wonderful evening in the Stanley Forest. The opportunity to explore the habitat of the Southern Greater Gliders was a truly special experience, and spotting a few of them in the gum canopy was an absolute highlight.

Your guidance through the forest, along with the beautiful supper you provided, made the event even more memorable. We all walked away with a deeper appreciation for the importance of preserving this unique habitat, and I found the tips on how we can contribute—like leaving trees with hollows and planting Silver Banksia—both informative and inspiring.

Thank you again for your efforts in making the evening so enjoyable and educational. Also, please pass on compliments to the chef, the soups were delicious!
