The SOUTHFIELD BASEBALL SHOWCASE is unique to Detroit’s metro area high-school baseball programs. Since its inception in 2015, the Showcase’s primary goal continues to be to provide Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) baseball coaches and programs a first-hand look at the most talented high-school players in the Detroit area and the Mid-West region to include Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland Kansas City, St. Louis and Milwaukee. The SOUTHFIELD BASEBALL SHOWCASE continues to introduce prospective college players to the Baseball Programs and education opportunities available at HBCU's.

The SOUTHFIELD BASEBALL SHOWCASE includes HBCU Coaches Skills Evaluation & Drills, 3-Day Showcase Tournament (3 games guaranteed), opportunity to connect with HBCU college coaches and professional scouts, Showcase Symposium & College Fair, Showcase team t-shirt, Tickets to the Detroit Tigers game. A 3–5-minute performance video is available at an additional cost.
