The Sydney Alliance is a coalition of community organisations, unions, and faith groups working together to build a fairer, more just Sydney. We believe real change happens when everyday people organise, act, and lead—together. We take no government funding and are politically non-partisan,
Join us as we bring together members of our diverse partner organisations, communities and neighbourhoods across Southwest Sydney to:
Listen to each other and build relationships so that we can take action on the issues that affect us.
Surface stories, pressures, and hopes of our members in this part of our city.
Identify and develop new leaders who want to work together for the common good.
Registrations close Sunday November 9th at 12pm
These listenings will be both multi-issue and intersectional. There will be opportunities for participants to share stories in small groups (around tables) about what we love about our area, what is something that is putting pressure on us and our families, and what is the future we hope for. We will all be invited to take future action on the pressures and issues that affect us.
The stories and issues raised at this listening meeting (and others across Sydney) will contribute towards a citywide Discernment Convention in 2026. At this Convention, leaders across Greater Sydney will gather to; reflect on what we heard, and explore what solutions and proposals we will take into future campaigns or actions. These solutions can shape our continued work at all levels of Government- including the next NSW State Election.
For those who can afford it, we are asking for contributions to help us cover the costs of this event.
