Great Southern Nights presents Space Is The Place – An evening of live astral jazz and hi-fidelity records curated by Jono Ma – on the Paramount House Rooftop. Featuring an improvised set by BELIEVE: Peter Farrar (Saxophone), Novak Manoklovic (Piano), Clayton Thomas (Bass) & Laurence Pike (Drums).
Set beside a Surry Hills' sunset skyline, the Rooftop Recital also includes Vinyl sets by multi-instrumentalists and composers, Jono Ma and Jackson Mico Milas, as well as a cocktail and wine bar by the one-and-only Ester Spirits, with food provided by Golden Age Cinema & Bar.

Great Southern Nights 2024 will take place from 8-24 March 2024 featuring more than 300 gigs across 17 nights throughout Sydney’s inner city and Western Sydney, as well as shows in seven key music communities across NSW, including Tamworth, Wagga, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Northern Rivers.

An improvising unit of rare flexibility and discipline, BELIEVE illuminates the possibility of positive, active listening through totally committed, in-the-moment invention. Both a mission statement and band name, BELIEVE formed in Sydney, Australia in 2022 with the determination to connect with experiential music-making in pursuit of shared emotional truth, featuring four of the country's most celebrated improvisers - Clayton Thomas, Laurence Pike, Peter Farrar and Novak Manojlovic.BELIEVE believes.
