Event description
Spacecubed Breakfast Club: From Founders to Funders is an exclusive series of events brought to you by the Western Sydney Startup Hub, powered by Spacecubed, in partnership with City of Parramatta.
Join us on Tuesday 19th August from 8:30am for Western Sydney Business Women, covering important topics including diversity and establishing yourself in a male dominated scene.
Start your morning by networking with like-minded women in business over delicious breakfast bites and a fresh cup of coffee at Western Sydney's premium coworking and innovation space.
This will be followed by a talk from Western Sydney Business Women lead and Hawkesbury’s Citizen of the Year, Sarah Cassim. With a background in marketing, strategy and advocacy, Sarah is the founder of Hawkesbury Women in Business and co-founder of the marketing agency, Bright Orange Door. Sarah is known for her sharp communication skills, emotionally intelligent leadership and the sheer dedication to lifting up women in business and the community.
Amirah Amin is a powerhouse facilitator, conflict resolution specialist and former UN advisor who’s spent over 15 years helping communities and governments navigate conflict, connection, and change. A proud Muslim woman of colour, Amirah leads from lived experience—founding Taboo Talk and creating the TalkingTaboo method to make space for the difficult conversations most people avoid. Her work bridges power and presence, discomfort and growth.
