About Spark Festival:
In its tenth year, Spark Festival 2025 will again bring together thousands of people in the startup ecosystem for a week-long program of events, from 27 October to 2 November 2025.
As Australia’s largest startup event, Spark aims to drive engagement into and across the startup ecosystem. When started in 2015, there was a relative abundance of startup event activity to concentrate and coordinate. The “spark” we needed was engagement into and across these, which Spark Festival provided.
Today, ten years later, the landscape has changed, and Spark Festival must change too. The spark that is now needed is a spark to reignite event activity itself, and the next generation of ecosystem leaders who can convene gatherings worth attending in the emerging areas that are needed.
Our focus has expanded to consciously filling the gaps that exist today — not just driving the connectivity into existing events, but also rebuilding a regular, year-round schedule of meaningful startup event activity for NSW.
Spark is a Not For Profit, grassroots festival and community. We are made up of startups, investors, SMEs, government, corporates and innovators from across NSW and beyond.
Spark Festival is the place to get inspired, make connections, make impact, and learn the tools and techniques of the new economy.
