Spark Festival - Part 1 Panel Series: Entrepreneurship in the Classroom - The Delorean Project
Event description
The DeLorean Project is a program established in 2016 at Glasshouse Christian College, Queensland. It runs one day a week, for an entire year for our entire Year 10 cohort. The underlying aims of the program are to improve and develop our students' skills in self-awareness, social awareness, critical and creative thinking and use of technology. We use a tag line of THINK - CREATE - SHARE to encourage our students to find what they are passionate about, what they are good at or what the world needs. The students are then encouraged to create a solution or something that reflects their passion/skills and finally share their creation with others (locally or globally).
In this masterclass, teachers will be given the opportunity to learn how we have implemented the entrepreneurship program at GCC and most importantly, learn from our experiences of failure and success.
