Spark Your Talent Pipeline is an event delivered by SSE explores how the unique benefits of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs (sometimes known as internships) can be leveraged by startups and scaleups to support their talent pipeline and gain high-quality employees.
This event is ideal for startup and scale-up leaders, or anyone interested in starting a WIL program to support their talent pipeline. SSE will be sharing how the different types of WIL programs can be leveraged by high growth organisations and explore how SwitchDin, a rapidly growing scaleup, has successfully implemented multiple types of WIL programs to grow their talent pipeline and support their growth.
Background
In our conversations with startups and scaleups across Australia, successful talent acquisition remains one of the leading issues hindering growth. Similarly, ecosystem supporters such as Local Councils and Universities recognise this challenge in their evolving endeavours to provide talent pipelines, pathways, and ongoing support, to these growing businesses. Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs are a great way to help address this challenge and provide early engagement and two-way review opportunities for both the businesses and prospective talent alike. This highly valuable solution is readily available, but many organisations are unsure where to start!
